Conditions cancellation fund

Article 1: General

1. we recommend that you always participate in the cancellation fund in connection with your booking. Participation in the cancellation fund is possible only if it is agreed directly at the time of booking.

2. the premium is 8.2% of the net rental price and excludes the insurance tax and the cost of the policy.

3. in case of cancellation due to one of the events mentioned below, the cancellation fund entitles you to a refund of the (partial) amount received by Vakantiepark BreeBronne according to the booking confirmation, minus the cancellation fund premium and administrative costs.

4. the cancellation fund is valid from the date of booking according to the booking confirmation and ends on the date of departure according to the booking confirmation.

5. the insurance coverage starts after receiving the payment of the cancellation fund premium.

6. payment shall be made for days not commenced due to a circumstance referred to in Articles 2.1 to 2.7. The payment will be calculated on the basis of the rental amount in proportion of the number of days not taken to the total number of days booked.

 

Article 2: Cancellation costs

Cancellation costs will be refunded as a result of an uncertain event as defined in the following:

 

1. death, serious illness or serious accident/injury of the tenant or his/her dependents 1st or 2nd degree.  <spouse, parents (in-law and/or foster parents), (foster and/or step) children, brothers, brothers-in-law, (in-law) sisters, grandparents and grandchildren.

2. death of a pet, including only dog, cat or horse, of the Insured within 14 days prior to the date of travel.

3. pregnancy complications of the tenant or his/her cohabiting partner.

4. a medically necessary operation unexpectedly undergone by the tenant, his/her partner or a child living with him/her.

5. property damage (damage to property/property) to property of the tenant or the company where he/she works, which makes his/her presence urgently necessary.

6. final breakdown of the tenant's marriage for which divorce proceedings have been initiated. The dissolution of a notarized cohabitation agreement will be considered equal to the final breakdown of the marriage.

7. if due to a pandemic the sanitary building and/or the vacation park has to be closed. 

 

No payment will be made if the participant:

1. makes an untrue statement and/or misrepresents facts.

 
Article 3: Obligations in case of cancellation

1. the tenant is obliged to report an event that leads to the cancellation of the stay as soon as possible, but no later than 3 working days before the start of the stay, in writing or by e-mail to Vakantiepark BreeBronne, Lange heide 9, 5993PB Maasbree.

When submitting the cancellation request, the tenant must explain the circumstances that lead to his request (if possible by original receipts)
